PLANT LABS FOR SCHOOLS

Gardening in the Classroom

For over 27 years the Washington Garden Club has been an active
leader in Arizona working with elementary school children, teachers and
principals to teach them about the joy and wonder of growing plants and
flowers inside and out of the classroom. Plant lab chairpersons for
each school coordinate the Inside Gardening Project. Reports are made
and discussions are held during monthly meetings.

Chairperson: Wally Vegors.
